The Apex ATS applicant messaging program: how applicants opt in, what they receive, how to stop, and who to contact.

Last updated: September 2026

1.Program name

Apex ATS applicant messaging. This program is used by employers who run their hiring on Apex ATS, software operated by Caspian Solutions, to communicate with people who have applied to their jobs.

2.Program description

When you apply to a job through an employer's Apex ATS careers page and agree to receive text messages, the employer's hiring team may text you about your application. Messages may include confirmation that your application was received, screening questions, interview scheduling links, interview reminders, updates on your application status, and requests for information needed to move forward. Messages are conversational and sent by the employer's recruiters; automated messages are limited to application confirmations and interview reminders.

3.How you opt in

You opt in by checking the SMS consent box on the application form, which reads in substance: "I agree to receive text messages from [employer] about my application. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help." The date and time of your consent are recorded with your application. You may also opt in by replying START or YES to a message from the employer's number.

4.Message frequency

Message frequency varies by employer and by how far your application progresses. Most applicants receive between one and ten messages over the course of an application. Messages are not sent during the employer's quiet hours, which default to 8 pm to 8 am in the employer's timezone.

5.Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Apex ATS and the employer do not charge you for messages.

6.How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that employer. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT also work. Opting out of texts does not withdraw your application; the employer may still contact you by email or phone. To resume texts, reply START.

7.Help

Reply HELP to any message for the employer's contact details. You can also email management@apexsales.ai and we will identify the employer and pass your request on.

8.Carriers

Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular and most regional carriers in the United States. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9.Privacy

Your mobile number and message history are stored with your application in the employer's workspace and are used only for communication about your application. They are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Our Privacy Policy at ats.apexsales.ai/privacy explains how Apex ATS handles applicant data on behalf of employers; the employer's own privacy notice also applies.
