Move candidates through the pipeline

The pipeline has six stages: Applied, Screening, Interview, Offer, Hired and Rejected. Drag a card or use the stage menu on the record; every change is logged.

Steps

  1. 1Open a job and choose Pipeline to see one column per stage.
  2. 2Drag a candidate card to a new column, or open the record and pick a stage from the Stage menu.
  3. 3When rejecting, add a reason. It is stored on the application and helps source reporting.
  4. 4Use the filters above the board to narrow by score, source or date applied.
  5. 5Watch the activity feed on the record: every stage change shows who moved the candidate and when.

Stages are fixed so that reporting means the same thing in every workspace. Time-to-hire is measured from Applied to Hired, and the funnel counts how many applications reached each stage.

What each stage means

  • Applied: the application arrived and was scored. Nobody has looked at it yet.
  • Screening: a recruiter is reviewing or has reached out.
  • Interview: an interview is booked or has happened. Self-scheduled bookings move the candidate here automatically.
  • Offer: an offer has been made.
  • Hired: the offer was accepted. Analytics count this as a hire on the date of the stage change.
  • Rejected: not moving forward. The record is kept for reporting and can be moved back.
