Google for Jobs is not a job board you submit to; it is Google reading structured data from job pages on the open web. Apex writes that data (schema.org JobPosting) into every public job page automatically, including title, description, location, employment type, salary, the date posted and your organization details.
Getting indexed faster
- Link to your careers page from your own website so Google discovers it.
- Add salary and a specific location. Google requires a location and prefers pay.
- Keep descriptions substantive. Very short posts may be listed but rank poorly.
- Closed jobs are removed from the page and the schema, which tells Google to drop the listing.
Checking a page
Paste a job URL into Google's Rich Results Test. It should detect a JobPosting with no errors. If you changed your careers slug, old URLs will 404, which is expected.
